Increased water discharge from the Chao Phraya Dam at 1,900 cubic meters per second has caused the Chao Phraya River to rise an additional 10 centimeters in Ayutthaya on September 10. Panuwat Eua-samarn, Director of Ayutthaya Historical Park, said the Fine Arts Department installed robust flood barriers at Wat Chaiwatthanaram about two weeks ago, along with other riverside historical sites including Wat Kasattrathirat Worawihan and Wat Dhammaram.
