I admit, I like SIM training and check flights😌 A sim check is never 100% perfect, which I believe is a good thing. Simulator session, in my opinion, is your semi-annual opportunity to train maneuvers you hopefully never have to apply or fly in the actual airplane. Getting constructive feedback from your instructor/examiner is what makes you a better pilot.
