Currently a junior at Prospect High School, John Ciok is an exemplary young leader with a bright future ahead of him. Earlier this year, John helped lead a team to raise money and awareness for Blood Cancer United (formally The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Illinois). He and his team met with businesses, legislators, and activists—as well as sent out hundreds of emails, letters, and texts to spread the word. They also participated in multiple service projects, including co-hosting a blood drive
