I was privileged to be commissioned to make a new ‘portable’ baptismal font for the Anglican Church in West Mersea. The Cobmarsh font will allow families to choose the best place in the church for the ceremony, and also to enable the vicar to bring the ceremony to them if needed. The project was a collaboration with Cathy Roberts and the Rev. Jo Parrott on behalf of the church and the beautiful oak stand was made by a group called Mersea Community Repair and Make and it was dedicated by the Bish
