The presence of a frenulum on its own is not always indicative of a 1) tongue tie and 2) a feeding issue. Don’t forget there is not one agreed on tool to determine what’s a normal frenulum and what’s a restrictive one, so assessment can be subjective, especially if being carried out by someone who is making money by ‘treating’ a tongue tie alone.
