Aug 24, 2022 · download high-res textures go to epic games launcher>library>open options on Fortnite>tick the high res textures in settings, turn up all your settings (resolution, view distance, textures, effects etc etc) though you'd never be able to achieve the same graphics as PS5, they'll be the highest graphics for PC

Dec 7, 2022 · Fortnite recently received a big upgrade with new UE5 festures. Namely Nanite geometry, Lumen lighting and reflections as well as TSR 4K upscaling running at 60fps on next gen consoles. Every game has its own settings, not sure if PS5 Fortnite has performance settings. Why would you tone them down though? I moved from PS4 to PS5 and it is so much better. Also I can actually see where the storm circle is from pretty far away, on PS4 the draw distance sucks.

Yes, FN runs better on PS5 than on PC if you use graphics settings on PC similar to what they have on PS5. And who even talks bout other games or FN being the only game? I use PC and all current gen consoles on daily basis - some games’ optimization on PC is so awful that even XboX will give you better performance than high end PC.

Though they are using a lot of the features of Nanite and Lumen to a surprising degree for Fortnite - modeling individual bricks, leaves on trees, and roof shingles with polygons, and some ray-traced reflections even on Series X and PS5 - so the graphics aren’t as simple as you’d expect.
PS5 owners, is it worth upgrading from PS4 just for Fortnite?
Jan 28, 2023 · PS5 is definitely worth the upgrade if you can afford it. I upgraded and I only play Fortnite. Graphics are way better. Gameplay is smooth. Also field of distance is incredible. You can see players and objects from very long distances. Lastly, my PS4 would sometimes not render objects. I lost a fight once with a player who was acting weird.
