Jan 24, 2010 · Carson's cousin Mike Chamberlain played bass for Keith. He then came to play bass in Larry Boone's band and we have been friends ever since. We still do as much fishing as we can, but he drives a tour bus and I work for one of the busiest guys on the road so we don't get to fish as much as we'd like to.

Dec 10, 2007 · Keith Whitley was one of my favorite artists of the eighties, and his songs were awesome! Carson Chamberlain, who played steel/pedabro with Keith, wrote Joe Nichols' song "Another Side Of You". Paul Franklin played great steel on Keith's song "Don't Close Your Eyes" and pedabro on "When You Say Nothing At All", and I love "Stranger To The Rain".
