Jul 23, 2010 · Microsoft abandoned Photo editor when they came out with Office 2003. They replaced it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager which is not the same thing at all (file manager, not image viewer). The best advice you're likely to get from Microsoft is to use Windows Photo Viewer. It most likely handles larger images consistently.

If this happens close Photo Editor via the task manager (or reboot), open Regedit (type regedit at the start menu) go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Photo Editor, 3.0, Microsoft Photo editor and right click on the Initial_Position key and delete this key.

Aug 11, 2016 · MS Photo Editor is part of the MS Office products which includes excel, word, outlook and photo editor. In Office 2013, they removed the MS Photo Editor to my disappointment. Makes me think what are these updates for? More money for less product? Unfortunately I cannot do any changes with my computer without the IT contractor.
