This is going to be a tough one, but entirely Fixable. the first thing you must know is this is a toboshi hd dvd player that is no longer supported by toboshi. The good news is all you are missing is the correct drivers and this will be (kinda) good as new.

Sep 15, 2019 · I hear you loud and clear. I just want to plug in my 360 HD DVD player to my One and have it play my old HD DVDs too. I've heard that people have gotten it working on Windows. Xbox One has the ability to run certain Windows 10 apps. Now, my thought is, I wonder how difficult it would be to make a player that works on Windows 10 and Xbox One?

I tried to install WMP 10 through your link but I was just getting a message saying that this version of media player was only compatible with Windows XP 32 bit. If you have any other suggestions for getting my HD-DVD player to work I would be extremely grateful.

Jun 24, 2016 · The player DOES play DVDs fine though. What could be going on here? I tried restarting the 360 with a power down, reconnecting the HD DVD player from the 360, no change. This seems crazy. The only thing I can think of that changed was a HD DVD player update that I was prompted to download as I was playing the HP disc the very first time.

Jan 8, 2013 · I currently have an Xbox Pro hooked up via HDMI (date on the console is 2007) and the HD-DVD drive is plugged in to external power and hooked up to a USB port on the front of the console.
