Jan 13, 2022 · Rimworld IMO is the best colony/survival game out there. Its modding community is quite extensive as well. This year also look out for Manor Lords as that seems to be a cross between Banished and Age of Empires by their trailers so far. Other than that Ostriv is quite good especially if you're into the many supply chain aspects of colony managment.

Aug 10, 2020 · Project Zomboid is the best zombie survival game, period. Regarding featureset/systems. If you can think of a system for a zombie game, good chance it has it. The only things it really lacks ATM is there are no non-zombie NPCs, and the current newest build has multi-player disabled as they're rebuilding the entire multi-player system to refine it.

It's a survival colony builder (just like it's name 😺) where you build potentially huge colonies (up to 50,000 people in each colony/outpost), provide for their needs and defend against monster hordes that attack you each night.

Any base building games with some defense mechanics?
Mar 22, 2022 · Base game is pretty good at base building and defense but it's also zombie survival so if you want only base building with defense it's probably not for you. Jist is that every 7 days a zombie horde attacks your base so you have to prepare stronger and better defenses as time goes on to counter the increasing and harder zombies.

This may finally be the management, strategy and survival game I've been waiting for. Infection Free Zone has its own graphic style and intuitive and innovative gameplay mechanics.
