Dec 20, 2021 · The point of the Judge was to demonstrate that humans aren't better than vampires. Both can be monsters. S3 also presented the opposite point, in how humans and vampires can be not monsters (through The Captain and Lenore) as well as extreme side of those who view one side as monsters whole (Isaac - humans and Taka and Sumi - vampires).

Another way of looking at it is as en examination of how those in power can abuse their power. Lenore enslaves Hector, the magician enslaved an entire town, Judge pulled a Hot Fuzz, The Church basically set off a Holocaust in S1/S2, Carmilla wants to set up concentration camps for humans, Taka and Sumi restrain Alucard during sex, etc.

Mar 7, 2020 · The judge killings, the churchs sacrifice, the portal, was all a part of that. Things that were gonna happen regardless of if he and the speaker came into the town or not. Atleast from their perspective anyways. So to sum it up, the point wasnt that the judge was killing children, the point was that they missed it until it was too late to stop it.

Feb 11, 2021 · The Judge wasn't fully evil, in that he did love the town and wanted to protect it, so it's possible he was corrupted himself by whatever previous magic set in place the opening of the portal, as he was from the town originally and came back to it.

If the Judge knew or cared about the real problems in his town, he could have killed the OBVIOUSLY EVIL monks long before the fire Magic killed the town. He was willing to murder a child over minor childish mistakes and had done so many times.

Mar 13, 2020 · And I liked how he wasn't some religious zealot like the Priest from season 1. I should of known that Castlevania wouldn't let any character seem good without revealing they were evil the entire time. It is my head canon that the Judge most likely was a serial killer in the capital but after nearly getting caught left for this rural town.

Aug 17, 2021 · Judge mentioned how everything in a small town was a big deal and he mentions "a death" as an example. He wasn't able to experience this level of closeness to the victims families while he stayed in the city which is why he doesn't seemed bothered to have been moved from the capital to a small faraway town.

Mar 7, 2020 · The twist with the judge was really lame. So at the end Trevor and Sypha find out that the judge is a psycho murderer. . . . and that's it Nothing more comes of it. It just seems so random and pointless.
