Sep 22, 2020 · It didn't like that I was logged in and I think their database still thinks my account had the item in cart from earlier at launch. I bet this is why they re-opened the orders. Good luck!

Basically everyone clicks add to cart and the ones who are lucky enough get added to cart after “in line”>asked to login>verifies>stock>payment info>checkout>success Also if you do get it add to cart Best Buy hold your items for 10 mins. While checking out.
Okay, how does bestbuy website work when adding to cart?
So I received a Best Buy gift card yesterday, and I decided to buy an Oculus headset. I have a gaming PC, so I was okay with the Quest or the Rift S. When I went onto Best Buy's website around 9AM EST yesterday, they were all sold out. I figured that, with COVID-19 and Half Life Alyx, it was going to be sold out for quite a while.

Jan 15, 2019 · Nevermind. I just found a solution. Log out. Add something to your cart and checkout. Log back in during the checkout process. The contents of your shopping cart are cleared except for the item you just added.

Best Buys new add to cart system is worse than nothing
Dec 21, 2020 · Best buy implemented a stupid javascript button that blocks the add to cart link but doesnt block the actual checkout. As a user you need to win the lotto twice. Once for add to cart and once for check out. Not only that but you cant easily spam the link manually.
