18 hours ago · According to the data, G20 nations held a total of US$157.9 billion in bilateral LDC and SIDS debt by the end of 2022. A year earlier, the figure was $155 billion. This is in addition to the debt owed to 19 multilateral organisations – such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund – of which G20 nations are majority stakeholders.

Since 2001 we have supported the group, which played a key role in the Paris Agreement, to fully and meaningfully engage in the UN negotiating process on behalf of those countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
