With msi center you can just set them and never use the app again, the color saved will display on boot. I already have OpenRGB, but unfortunately, it doesn't detect any RGB headers. It can control the RGB of the RAM though.

Jun 8, 2021 · The RGB strips on my MPG B550 Gaming Carbon WIFI have stopped working for some reason. I reinstalled mystic lights, reset the CMOS, updated the bios, updated every driver, and the RGB still does not work. I know its kind of a silly issue to cause a panic as RGB is usually the least of concerns, but I would still at least like for them to function.

Mar 8, 2021 · Hey, just wanted to say thanks as i have has issues for years trying to use the leds on my z390 MSI board and have had them stuck in rgb mode forever. Openrgb is the only thing that's ever worked to changed them and im so happy i don't have them blinking anymore! Got a new GPU and really didn't want them blinking!

Oh, you have an X370 board. Older MSI boards use a completely different RGB system that we call MSI-RGB. This doesn't use USB at all, it uses the Super IO chip. If you run OpenRGB as administrator it should be able to detect MSI-RGB. If not, we may have to add your board's DMI information to a list somewhere.

Mar 25, 2024 · Open RGB. It supports all three headers on my MSI Z790 board. That let me tweak colours in real time, (right down to individual LEDs on 3 pin ARGB devices) and has an option to save back to the boards RGB firmware.

Mar 26, 2023 · I tried using MSI center with mystic light and icue and watched a ton of videos about how to sync between them to control the ram rgb but it didnt work out (the MSI center recognise the ram after first installing it with icue and after some time it stops recognising it, and the icue doesnt control the ram rgb anymore).
