Apr 14, 2021 · Yes I’ve been playing it on PS5 actually right now. You can really see that it runs faster on the loading screens (especially the beginning “Charles the 4th” cutscene it’s so much faster) and in general does look and run better.

comparing it to cyberpunk is unfair. First off, kingdom come was made by a new as well as small czech studio of 25 people with a kickstarter budget whereas cyberpunk was made by a huge dev team of devs across the world with a massive budget and almost no doubters and naysayers because they made 2 good games (witcher 2 and 3).

The PS5 can not magically create higher visual settings or create a higher resolution output. The devs have to do that. The PS5 can only work with whatever preset the devs set as a limit. But there is no KCD PS5 version which means the PS5 is forced to use the PS4 Pro version.

Jul 6, 2023 · Ps5 can match the graphics of a 2070/1080ti but not the processing power which is probably what kingdom come uses the most. Same for other bethesda games to. Its also why it runs worse on the xbox compared to my rig.

Wow! That’s a lot of advices! Thank you very much. I’m playing on such monitor and medium to high sounds great to me. Hah, in PS3 times I didn’t know what is 60 FPS even but as I start to play more souls/aRPG games on PS5 in 60 FPS this 30 in Kingdom Come might be difficult to get into at first few plays.

May 29, 2024 · KCD had to be downgraded to run on the PS4/Xbox One. Graphics took a heavy hit, as well as foliage density. And KCD hasn't been enchanted for the PS5/XSX&S due to the devs being focused on KCD2, so the PS5/XSX&S are still running the downgraded version of the g

Nov 12, 2020 · Having played it on PS4 pro first, it ran pretty decent. Mostly 30fps, installed it last night on the ps5 and the game runs just about the same. Not sure if I’m just used to a consistent 60fps on the ps5 now, but the lack of framerate is noticeable and a bit irritating.
