My camera capture settings are set to High Efficiency and the photo mode is set to 24MP, Pro RAW and Apple ProRes are disabled.

Feb 17, 2024 · On re-reading the McCormack interview and various pundit takes I'm of the opinion he was comparing 24 MP HEIC with 48 MP HEIC or 48 MP RAW, not with ProRaw. Images are stacked in the ProRaw pipeline too. So I'd be surprised if there is much or any difference in DR.
