Overall I definitely agree that 2 or 3 on the Norwood scale look completely normal if someone chooses the right style and look to compliment the hairline and the face shape. I think too many people jump the gun and get transplants before they see where they fully stabilize on medication.

Mar 4, 2018 · Can anyone suggest any better hairstyles for a norwood 3? I have a NW3 but my hair is still kinda thick. The combover is literally the only style I can pull off which sucks. Grow your hair a little longer and do a comboverish sweep works with my sh*t thin nw3. I was hoping for a style of something other then a comb over.

Mar 4, 2018 · Norwood 3 isnt even bad.....you should be able to pull off most hairstyles that a norwood 1 and 2 can do? Sure you will reveal more of your temples, but a nw3 with ok density should be able to do quite a lot of hairstyles.

My story: age 35 I started thinning around age 20 (genetic) and by 21, I was a Norwood 2. This progressed to a Norwood 3. My widow's peak stayed on strong, but the temple sides kept going back.
