Mar 5, 2020 · I installed Detroit Axle brake pads on my mother-in-law's Dodge Journey and they have worked fine for her. I believe she bought them on Amazon. I am using Raybestos EHT (Enhanced Hybrid Technology) brake pads on my JKU and I am very happy with them.

Mar 6, 2021 · Anyone else have issues receiving total garbage from Detroit Axle. I bought STRUTS from them, they didn't weld the brakeline bracket on correctly and they handle worse then my wore out ones. Returned them to Detroit Axle and they refuse to stand behind their product or return my money.

Nov 25, 2013 · I am in the process of regearing to 4.88's. Installed an ARB locker and chromoly shafts in the rear. Starting the front axle ring and pinion this weekend. The budget does not allow an ARB and stronger shafts for Dana 30. Is it worth $500 to put in a TrueTrac limited slip and keep the stock shafts.

Jul 7, 2013 · I was referring something along the lines of a carrier swap to a Detroit. My bad, that's what happens when being up for two days and driving 800 miles. But the fact remains that a truly locked axle is way more prone to breakage. Oh and I have seen and broke more axles while crawling then spinn up something.
