Angel Reese has been in a rich vein of form in the WNBA, but there's some big news coming from the Chicago Sky about her health.
Candace Parker is a basketball legend, and there's no denying she knows what she's talking about. On Monday, Complex Sports shared an interview with Parker in which she ranked a few current WNBA players on a scale from S to D, with S being the highest ranking.
Angel Reese had another double-double on Monday as the Chicago Sky lost at home to the Minnesota Lynx. The 22-point, 10-rebound performance was her ninth consecutive double-double and the 41st of her career in just 55 games and she's the only player in the WNBA averaging a double-double.
The Sky will close the first half of the season against the Dream, but without Angel Reese and Ariel Atkins, who both have leg injuries.
Angel Reese once again proved on Monday that she is one of the brightest young stars in the WNBA right now. The 23-year-old entered the Chicago Sky’s matchup against the Minnesota Lynx with eight consecutive double-doubles, and she extended her streak to nine with a team-high 22 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with three assists and a block.
Angel Reese was named the cover athlete for the NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition. To make the feat more special, Reese debuted her signature shoe on the cover.
