Six people were injured, one critically, in a crash in the West Ridge neighborhood Thursday morning, Chicago police said.

Citations were written for a 25-year-old man driving a yellow car who caused the crash by running a red light and ramming into an SUV around 12:15 a.m. in the 6300 block of North Albany Avenue.
