Bollywood celebrities renting out their luxury properties in Mumbai is nothing new. The likes of Kartik Aaryan, Ranveer Singh and Sajid Nadiadwala are but a few in that club. Well, now the club has a new member.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Kapoor have rented out their luxury apartment in Worli area of Mumbai at a rent of ₹20 lakh per month for five years, according to the property registration documents accessed by SquareYards.

According to documents accessed by Business Today, the rental starts at Rs 20.5 lakh per month and gradually rises to Rs 23.98 lakh by the end of the five-year lease. The agreement also includes a 10-month rent-free period.

The apartment was originally purchased in May 2024 for Rs. 58.6 crore and was jointly acquired by Shahid and Mira Kapoor. The couple have now rented out the luxury property and will receive upwards of Rs 20 lakh on rent.

The luxury apartment includes three dedicated car parking spaces. Shahid and his wife, Mira Kapoor, had jointly purchased the property in May 2024 for Rs 58.6 crore. Shahid Kapoor’s latest real estate move involves a 60-month lease agreement signed in November 2024,

As per documents accessed by Square Yards, the property spans 5,395 sq. ft. (~501.21 sq. m) of carpet area and 573.78 sq. m (~6,175.42 sq. ft) of built-up area, with three dedicated car parking spaces.
