As a shooting at a North Side apartment complex began to subside early Thursday, state and local lawmakers took to social media to sound their condolences.

Seven San Antonio Police officers were shot and the suspect is dead during a shooting late Wednesday night at a Far North Side apartment complex.

Upon arrival, police said they found the 41-year-old male victim near the lobby of the apartment complex with at least one gunshot wound to the arm.

Seven police officers have been shot one after the other after responding to a call made from inside a home in San Antonio, Texas, police said.

The man who shot 7 San Antonio police officers has been identified as Brandon Scott Poulos, 46. Poulos is dead.

Six of the seven San Antonio police officers injured in a shooting on Wednesday night have been released from the hospital.
