Anora appears to be the front-runner to win the Oscar for best picture. On Friday (Feb. 7) the film won the top award at the Critics Choice Awards. On Saturday (Feb. 8) it won the top prizes at both the Directors Guild of America Awards and the Producers Guild of America Awards.

In addition to the competitive awards, Dana Walden, Taika Waititi, Chris Meledandri and the late Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein were honored during Saturday night's Producers Guild ceremony.

At the PGAs, Anora beat out fellow Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures nominees The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, A Real Pain, September 5, The Substance and Wicked.
