A truck was pulling a wind turbine blade when the object struck a guardrail, blocking traffic along I-70 in Maryland.

A windmill turbine blade became loose Monday morning, crossing the median on Interstate 70 in Maryland and causing traffic to be backed up for several miles.

The wind turbine blade fell off the truck, blocking traffic on Interstate 70 around 5 a.m. on Monday, according to Fox 5 DC. Traffic cameras showed the massive blade lying across the highway. According to Fox 5 DC, one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
