Chiefs Won't Elevate Kareem Hunt for Game Against Falcons
The Kansas City Chiefs brought back former running back Kareem Hunt to offer depth in the wake of Isiah Pacheco fracturing his fibula. With Pacheco out for the next six to eight weeks, the team currently has rookie Carson Steele and veteran Samaje Perine to lean on.
Reid: Kareem Hunt won’t be elevated from practice squad for Chiefs-Falcons matchup
On Friday, head coach Andy Reid said Hunt will remain on the practice squad for Sunday’s Week 3 contest in Atlanta. “He did good,” Reid said of Hunt’s work this week during practice. “He’s in decent shape. Listen, he’s going to have to play a football game to tell the rest but he came in in good shape so that’s a plus.”
