The Detroit Lions could have the services of two defensive players returning from injury, when the team next takes the field to play the New York Giants. Dan Campbell was asked at his Monday media session with local reporters if there were players dealing with injuries he felt quite comfortable would return to action this week.

Lions tight end Brock Wright played a season-high 49 offensive snaps in the first game without LaPorta. Wright had two catches on seven targets for only 8 yards in Sunday night’s game. Ross Dwelley played only one offensive snap, which was a decrease from his role when LaPorta was active.

It appears All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph won’t play Sunday, Nov. 20, for the Detroit Lions against the New York Giants, coach Dan Campbell said Monday.
