POSEN, Ill. (CBS) -- Two lanes were shut down Monday afternoon after a crash that left at least one person dead on Interstate 57 in the south suburbs. At 1:13 p.m., a vehicle rolled over on northbound I-57 near 147th Street, according to Illinois State Police.

A 30-year-old man died after his Buick sedan crashed into two other vehicles Friday on Chicago’s South Side. Police said he was critically injured and later pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Mohammed Wajid, 28, of Chicago, was driving a semi-truck northbound on K18 in Plymouth County Tuesday afternoon, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. Troopers say Wajid failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with C12 and his vehicle slammed into an eastbound truck hauling grain.
