Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 continues to grow. One of the recent additions is a Hearing Aid capability for mild or moderate hearing loss

Apple has announced that the hearing aid mode for AirPods Pro 2, which was announced and launched in the US last year, is coming to the UK today, Monday February 24th, 2025. We already knew that it was coming to the UK following a regulatory change, but not when – however, you can expect it to become enabled imminently.

People in the UK will now be able to use their Apple AirPods Pro as hearing aids. A free software update to the AirPods Pro 2, the most recent version of Apple’s earphones, has been launched that enables users to boost sounds around them when using their AirPods.
