The Toronto Maple Leafs placed forward Connor Dewar on injured reserve on Saturday because of an upper-body injury. The move is retroactive to Monday, when Dewar sustained the injury in a 5-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube revealed that forward Matthew Knies is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Berube also stated that he doesn’t know when he will be available to return to the lineup.
