Growing up, I clocked a lot of time at Sardi’s, the landmark restaurant in New York City’s theater district that is home to one of the most famous portrait galleries in the world.

It’s not easy being green. Of the nearly 1,000 celebrity caricatures on the walls of iconic theater-district institution Sardi’s, the one pilfered the most, oddly, is Kermit the Frog.

Sardi’s restaurant is known for its iconic collection of caricatures of Broadway stars — and The Post learned which have been stolen from its walls over the years.
