Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The role that the late Ray Stevenson played in Ahsoka is set to be taken over by Game of Thrones star Rory McCann, it’s been confirmed. In May 2023, it was announced that Stevenson, best-known for roles in Thor and Punisher, had died at the age of 58.

We now know who will be replacing the late Ray Stevenson in season two of 'Ahsoka.' The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Scottish actor Rory McCann will fill the role formerly played by Stevenson for a second season of the Star Wars series.

Ahsoka by a long mile was the mysterious new Dark Jedi, Baylan Skoll, a complex and intriguing character whose motives and galactic alignment remained shrouded in mystery by the end of Season 1. Skoll was played with a grim stoicism by Ray Stevenson (Rome) who tragically passed away before the show landed on Disney+.

According to reports, Lucasfilm has cast Game of Thrones and Gladiator II actor Rory McCann to fill Ray Stevenson's shoes as Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka Season 2.
