At least 36 people were killed and hundreds are missing after a fire engulfed several high-rise residential towers in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district Wednesday.

Hong Kong authorities say 13 people have died after a fire ripped through a residential estate.

Police said they have received multiple reports of people trapped inside homes in the Wang Fuk Court complex, located in Hong Kong's northern Tai Po district.
