HBO has spoken out about the future of “Euphoria.” Over the weekend, there were reports that the teen drama series starring Zendaya was canceled after two seasons. However, HBO shut down those rumors in a statement to The Independent.

HBO issued a statement after rumors once again began circulating that the Zendaya-led drama had been canceled just months before production on Season 3 is reportedly set to begin.

Euphoria, which was renewed for a third season in February 2022, was originally set to begin filming in the spring or early summer of 2024, but was delayed due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, as well as script delays.

“Euphoria” , created by Sam Levinson, was renewed for a third season in February 2022, but production has faced significant delays, mainly due to the ongoing writers' and actors' strikes that have affected the entertainment industry this year. Originally, season 3 was expected to begin filming in the spring or summer of 2024.
