Despite Clark's return against the Valkyries, the team ended up losing by a final score of 80-61. In the loss, Clark did not play well. She scored 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting to go along with six assists, five rebounds, and four turnovers. Those numbers did not live up to the hype of her return.

Caitlin Clark missed the last five games for the Indiana Fever with a groin injury. But it appears she’s finally on the right track to return. Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters that Clark will be available for Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries, "barring any regression‚" via Indy Star’s Chloe Peterson.
