The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office confirmed to 13News the Boilermaker Special was involved in the crash on U.S. 52 at Wyandotte Road around 4 p.m. Thursday.

The Boilermaker Special vehicle collided with another car on US 52 at Wyandotte Road in Sheffield Township, killing the driver on impact.

The deadly crash happened Thursday afternoon on U.S. 52 at Wyandotte Road in southeastern Tippecanoe County, several miles southeast of Purdue University.

The Purdue Boilermaker Special was involved in a collision with another car. Officials said the other car's driver was killed.

Two Purdue students who were in the Boilermaker Special were taken to the hospital but have since been released.
