Family members and other loved ones are paying solemn tribute to Martin “Tiger” Bech, a former Princeton Tigers football player who was among the 14 people killed in the deadly New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans.

A former Princeton football player was killed in the deadly truck attack in New Orleans as revelers rang in 2025 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

One of the people killed in the horrific New Orleans terror attack on New Year’s morning has been indentified as Tiger Bech, 28, a former football player at Princeton. Bech worked as a trader in New Yok, per his Linkedin profile. He earned second team All-Ivy honors in 2018 per his Princeton biography.
