NHL trade deadline has officially passed and general managers are no longer be able to improve their teams ahead of the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs. In the midst of all this chaos, with many high-profile players having moved to different teams,

Sellers around the NHL from Philadelphia to San Jose, Mikko Rantanen and the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers were winners at the trade deadline.

With the NHL’s trade deadline now in the rearview mirror, we’re going to pinpoint below the league’s teams that are shaping up as true Stanley Cup contenders. In alphabetical order:

NHL trade deadline has come and gone and some big names changed teams. Mikko Rantanen is a Dallas Star, Brad Marchand is a Florida Panther and the Colorado Avalanche loaded up with Brock Nelson and Charlie Coyle.
