The National Hockey League is celebrating the first 25 years of the century by naming each franchise’s best team in that timespan and the Blue Jackets’ squad was named Thursday. Columbus’ quarter-century teams consist of the best players who suited up for the CBJ since 2000.

We continue today by revealing the First and Second Quarter-Century Teams for the Columbus Blue Jackets, who began play in the 2000-2001 season. Players are listed in alphabetical order:

The players selected to the Blue Jackets’ First Quarter-Century Team are forwards Rick Nash, Cam Atkinson and Artemi Panarin; defensemen Zach Werenski and Seth Jones; and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

Monahan, Voronkov score two goals each, Werenski adds four assists to help Blue Jackets climb closer to a playoff spot.

In continuing the unveiling of quarter-century teams, the Columbus Blue Jackets were next on the docket Thursday, as the NHL revealed its selection of the top players who have competed for the Ohio club over the past 25 years.
