Henry County School staff's paychecks were delayed due to weather, causing frustration and financial concerns among employees who depend on timely payments.

Henry County Schools employees are frustrated after they were informed that their monthly paycheck was going to be delayed because of the recent winter storm.

Officials say the monthly checks that were supposed to be sent on Friday morning will not be available until Jan. 29.

We have waited five weeks to get paid. And now we are going to get paid for another week…a lot of us are spent and we have nothing left,” said one employee.

Employees tell 11Alive they were caught off guard when they got an email informing them their payroll would be five days late due to the storm.
