Since the NFL Scouting Combine mock draft momentum for the New York Giants at No. 5 overall has moved heavily away from safety Caleb Downs and toward linebacker Sonny Styles. Yet, in his most recent mock draft, Matt Miller of ESPN bypassed Styles and took Downs for New York. Styles slid to No. 10 for the Cincinnati Bengals.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, in his latest mock, has the Giants getting the ideal running mate for Nabers, and that's Ohio State's Carnell Tate. "The Giants, who have just two top-100 selections, pair Tate with Malik Nabers to give Jaxson Dart a formidable duo to grow with in the passing game," Zierlein wrote.
