Smith State Prison in Glennville and the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson have new wardens.

The deputy responsible for the dog allegedly left her alone in a patrol car with the heat index rising to around 100 to 102 degrees Fahrenheit, officials said.
