Unknown drones attacked an oil depot in the Russian Federation on the evening of January 17. This time, it was in the Kaluga region, according to Russian Telegram channels. It is reported that the drone attempted to attack an industrial enterprise in the city of Lyudinovo.

The barrage appeared to be one of the largest recent assaults in Ukraine’s campaign to damage Russia’s war machine on its home territory.

A drone attack overnight on Jan. 14 caused damage to an industrial facility in the city of Engels, located in Russia's Saratov region. Engels lies around 600 kilometers (370 miles) from the front lines in Ukraine.

Amid the drone threat and the unstable operation of airports, eight foreign airlines have decided to partially suspend flights to Russia. These include Kazakhstan's Qazaq Air, Israel's El Al, Arab Flydubai, Serbia's Air Serbia, Uzbekistan's Qanot Sharq, Turkmenistan Airlines, Azerbaijan's AZAL and China Southern.

According to Telegram channel Baza, local first responders were on site shortly after the incident. Preliminary reports indicate there are no injuries. Local Telegram accounts suggested that efforts to extinguish the fire would continue through the night.

Ukrainian forces attacked the Liskinskaya oil depot near Russia's Voronezh, which is part of the Rosneft structure, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces.
