Ronaldo has admitted that the Santiago Bernabéu was his “happiest place.” The Portugal captain joined Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009 and went on to write his name in the club’s history books.

While football fans continue to spar with one another over the GOAT debate and whether that honour should go to Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, the former’s son isn’t impressed by either as much as he is by France and Real Madrid star Mbappe.

Speaking in an interview this week, Ronaldo revealed which player his son Mateo believes is the best in the world. “Mateo, he really likes Mbappé,” Ronaldo explained. “He sometimes tells me: ‘Hey dad, Mbappé is better than you,’ and I reply by saying: ‘ No, I am better than him, I have scored more goals .”
