Air France passenger who died on Boston flight suffered heart attack, doctor intervened on board: ‘Air France regrets this sad event and expresses its sincere condolences’

Calling it “an unattended death” aboard the flight, Massachusetts State Police said someone called the Crime Scene Services Section about the death.

State police are investigating after a Kansas woman died Tuesday evening aboard an Air France flight to Boston.

Preliminary information suggests Barbara Dipoli, of Topeka, died of a presumed medical episode during the flight, officials said.

The individual fell ill shortly after the flight departed from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport on Tuesday, and a doctor onboard was unable to rescue them.
