The federal government is set to issue an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) this month.

He said PIA is expected to grow its revenue to 170 billion rupees this year, which so far is the highest one. Saad Rafique said in the coming days, new Boeing 777 will be inducted in the fleet of PIA.

The Defence Minister mentioned that PIA flights to the UK and the US will also commence. Khawaja Asif said PIA will be privatized and its fleet will be expanded. He said PIA will recapture its market.
