The Minnesota Vikings have come to terms with Byron Murphy Jr. to re-sign the Pro Bowl defensive back on a three-year, $66 million deal. Murphy's new contract, which was first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero,

The Vikings spent big to hang onto their versatile cornerback, who is coming off a Pro Bowl season in which he totaled six interceptions.

The Vikings are still “hoping” to re-sign Murphy, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. They pushed back the void date of his contract a few weeks ago, giving the two sides more time to negotiate before free agency begins next week. Murphy turned down an extension offer last year, and his value has skyrocketed since then.
