Erving and Bird escaped suspensions, but each player was fined $7,500 - which, at the time, was the second-highest fine for player conduct in league history, according to the New York Times.
Though "Larry Legend" typically remained unfazed by external factors, the bar fight clearly had an impact on his performance. Before the altercation, he was averaging 29.9 points per game.
