Kyle Walker has revealed it was "not a comfortable conversation" when he told Pep Guardiola he wanted to leave Manchester City for more gametime.

Kyle Walker revealed on Monday night that he had a conversation with Pep Guardiola that “wasn’t very comfortable” when he told the Manchester City manager he wished to leave the Etihad to seek more game time.

Kyle Walker completed his loan move from Manchester City to AC Milan at the end of last week. And his wife Annie Kilner was said to be furious after the defender allegedly decided to fly his friends over to Italy before she had been given the chance to jet out and join him.

Kyle Walker has admitted that talking to Pep Guardiola about leaving Manchester City "wasn't a very comfortable conversation", primarily because of the respect he holds for the six-time Premier League winner.

Kyle Walker may have left Man City, but his exit doesn't look to be paving the way for one of the club's up and coming prospects.
