The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could be the most powerful phone on the market when it officially launches – but until then here’s how Samsung can improve on its top-end handset.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra better pack in a ton of Galaxy AI upgrades, because it doesn't look like the hardware is changing that much. A leaker on X who goes by the name @AssembleDebug claims to have the camera configuration of the new Samsung flagship based on the smartphone's core files.

That would bring the official price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 down to roughly $700 / £700 / AU$1,250, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus down to around $900 / £900 / AU$1,550, and the price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra down to approximately $1,200 / £1,150 / AU$2,050.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the most awaited smartphones of 2025 which will compete with other flagship models in terms of performance and camera capabilities. Now, based on the new leak, the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera does not look very promising as most of the specifications are similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

OnePlus, on the other hand, has made a virtue of trying to keep flagship costs down. The OnePlus 12 starts at $799, and with the Chinese version of the new handset coming in at 4,499 yuan (around $632), we’re hopeful that $799 remains the asking price in 2025.

Samsung may make some of the best phones money can buy, but its flagships are still missing a few features its rivals have offered for years. One of those missing features, Car Crash Detection, may finally make an appearance on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
