STORY: iPhone-assembler Foxconn missed profit forecasts for the fourth quarter, but it's feeling upbeat about the future.The electronics maker said Friday (March 14) solid demand from tech clients would drive strong revenue growth in the first quarter.

Foxconn has expanded its footprint into high-growth tech sectors like AI and EVs in recent years as its core electronics manufacturing business faces challenges due to industry shifts.

For the first quarter of 2025, Foxconn said its AI server revenue is expected to grow more than 100% both quarter-on-quarter and year-over-year. "As the GB200 enters mass production, we believe AI server revenue will improve quarter by quarter," said the company.
